My name is Thomas Fralinger,
and I have been a jeweler since 1993. I have been trained by master jewelers in Philadelphia . This training included both old world hand manufacturing techniques as well as modern jewelry manufacturing techniques.
I thoroughly enjoy the creation of jewelry from start to finish. Whether it is your design, or one we generate together, I love the process involved in making a piece of wearable art.
I work with various types of metals ( gold, silver, platinum, and palladium for example) and any type of gemstone you wish (diamonds, pearls, or colored stones) to create one-of-a-kind pieces of handmade jewelry. Working with you to design an original piece of jewelry that fits your unique personal style is one of the most satisfying aspects of my career and an added bonus to doing what I love.
My latest fascination is with an ancient art form known as Mokume Gane . It is a process by which different metals are fused together in layers, then compressed and flattened into a single piece of metal. This metal can then have designs carved into it, or twisted to form a starburst pattern. Rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets are as unique as the person designing them. From the colors of the metals, to the pattern chosen by you, your
Mokume jewelry will reflect your taste and style. You will turn heads and raise eyebrows with your wearable masterpiece.
